1-22_You were dead in sin. God being rich in mercy raised you up together with Christ as an exhibit of His grace. By grace you have been saved through faith. You have been built upon the apostles who are the foundation and Christ as the corner stone of the church. You are being built together as the dwelling place of God's Spirit.

1-21_The mystery of God has been hidden in past ages but has now been made known to us through Jesus Christ Who has carried out God's eternal purpose to provide salvation to all men. With the Holy Spirit in you, you may know the fullness of God's love through Jesus Christ.

1-6_I Paul entreat you to walk as Christians in a manner worthy of the calling. Conduct yourself with humility, gentleness, and patience, showing forbearance to one another in love. Be diligent to preserve unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.

__7-16_Each one receives grace according to the measure of Christ's gifts: some as apostles, some as prophets, some as evangelists, some as pastors, some as teachers, for the equipping of the saints. We are to grow up in all aspects into Christ Who is the head of the church.

__17-24_Lay aside the old self. Put on the new self which is in the likeness of God.

__25-32_Lay aside falsehood. Speak truth. Do not let anger lead to sin. Neither let the sun go down on your anger. No one should steal. Each one should work for his own needs and even be able to share with others in their needs. Let all your words edify. Be kind and forgiving, just as God has forgiven you.

1-21_Be imitators of God just as children imitate their parents. Love as Jesus loved. Do not be immoral. Walk in the light. The fruit of the Spirit consists of all goodness, righteousness, and truth.

__22-33_Wives, be subject to you husbands as in the LORD. Husbands, love your wives the way Christ gave Himself up for the church.

1-9_Children, obey your parents. Slaves, obey your masters. Masters, be good to your slaves. Do not threaten them. You both have the same Master in heaven.

__10-24_Be strong in the LORD putting on the full armor of God. Your loins should be girded with truth. Wear the breastplate of righteousness and have your feet shod with the preparation of the Gospel. Take up the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit which is the Word of God. Pray at all times.
