God Sent Moses And Aaron To Deliver Israel - RSV

After Moses Talked with God in the Burning Bush Out in the Wilderness, He Took the Sheep Home to His Father-In-Law, Jethro. He Then Asked Jethro to Let Him Go Visit His People Back in Egypt. God Told Moses That He Would Send Aaron to Meet Him. Together They Would Go to Pharaoh and Ask Him to Let Israel Go.

1. God Sent Moses and Aaron to Speak to Pharaoh, but He Did Not Want to Listen.

Exodus 4:27-28 The LORD said to Aaron, "Go into the __________________ to meet Moses." So he went, and met him at the ______________ of God and kissed him. [28] And Moses told Aaron all the words of the LORD with which he had sent him, and all the signs which he had ____________ him to do.

Exodus 5:1-4 ________________ Moses and Aaron went to Pharaoh and said, "Thus says the LORD, the God of Israel, 'Let my people go, that they may hold a feast to me in the wilderness.'" [2] But Pharaoh said, "Who is the LORD, that I __________ heed his voice and let Israel go? I do not know the LORD, and ______________ I will not let Israel go." [3] Then they said, "The God of the Hebrews has met with us; let us go, we pray, a three days' ____________ into the wilderness, and ________________ to the LORD our God, lest he fall upon us with __________________ or with the sword." [4] But the king of Egypt said to them, "Moses and Aaron, why do you take the people away from _________ work? Get to your ____________."

Exodus 7:2-5 You shall speak all that I command you; and Aaron your brother shall tell Pharaoh to let the people of Israel go out of his land. [3] But I will harden ________________ heart, and though I ______________ my signs and ____________ in the land of Egypt, [4] Pharaoh will not listen to you; then I will lay my hand upon Egypt and bring forth my hosts, my people the sons of Israel, out of the land of Egypt by great acts of ______________. [5] And the ________________ shall know that I am the LORD, when I ____________ forth my hand upon Egypt and bring out the people of Israel from among them."

Exodus 7:8-13 And the LORD said to Moses and Aaron, [9] "When Pharaoh says to you, 'Prove yourselves by working a miracle,' then you shall say to Aaron, 'Take your rod and cast it down before Pharaoh, that it may become a serpent.'" [10] So Moses and Aaron went to Pharaoh and did as the LORD ________________; Aaron cast down his rod before Pharaoh and his servants, and it became a serpent. [11] Then Pharaoh ______________ the wise men and the ________________; and they also, the ________________ of Egypt, did the same by their secret arts. [12] For every man cast down his rod, and they became ______________. But Aaron's rod ________________ up their rods. [13] Still ________________ heart was ______________, and he would not listen to them; as the LORD had said.

[15] Go to Pharaoh in the ____________, as he is going out to the water; wait for him by the ____________ brink, and take in your hand the rod which was turned into a ____________. [16] And you shall say to him, 'The LORD, the God of the ____________, sent me to you, saying, "Let my people go, that they may serve me in the __________________; and behold, you have not yet obeyed." [17] Thus says the LORD, "By this you shall know that I am the LORD: behold, I will __________ the water that is in the Nile with the rod that is in my hand, and it shall be turned to blood, [18] and the fish in the Nile shall die, and the Nile shall become foul, and the ________________ will __________ to drink water from the Nile."'"

Exodus 7:20-22 Moses and Aaron did as the LORD ________________; in the sight of Pharaoh and in the sight of his servants, he lifted up the rod and struck the water that was in the Nile, and all the water that was in the Nile turned to blood. [21] And the fish in the Nile died; and the Nile became foul, so that the Egyptians could not drink water from the Nile; and there was blood __________________ all the land of Egypt. [10] And he said, "Tomorrow." Moses said, "Be it as you say, that you may know that there is no one like the LORD our God. [11] The frogs shall depart from you and your houses and your servants and your people; they shall be left only in the Nile." [12] So Moses and Aaron went out from Pharaoh; and Moses cried to the LORD __________________ the frogs, as he had agreed with Pharaoh.
