Joseph As A Youth - KJV

Joseph Didn't Realize That His Troubles Would Eventually Lead Him to Be the Salvation of His Family. When a Famine Came to the World Joseph Would Bring His Father's Family down to Egypt Where They Would Remain for Many Years Before Being Rescued from Egypt's Oppressive Rule. a Time Would Come When the Pharaoh Would Not Remember Joseph. it was All Part of God's Plan to Help His People to See Him as Their Divine Deliverer.

1. Joseph Might Have Been a Little Spoiled.

Genesis 37:1-4 And Jacob dwelt in the land wherein his father was a ______________, in the land of Canaan. [2] These are the ___________________ of Jacob. Joseph, being ________________ years old, was feeding the flock with his brethren; and the lad was with the sons of Bilhah, and with the sons of Zilpah, his fathers wives: and Joseph brought unto his father their evil report. [3] Now Israel loved Joseph more than all his ______________, ____________ he was the son of his old age: and he made him a coat of many ____________. [4] And when his brethren saw that their father loved him more than all his brethren, they hated him, and could not speak ________________ unto him.

Genesis 37:5-8 And __________ dreamed a dream, and he told it his brethren: and they hated him yet the more. 2. Joseph's Brothers Called Him the Dreamer.

Genesis 37:12-13 And his brethren went to feed their ____________ flock in Shechem. [13] And Israel said unto __________, Do not thy brethren feed the flock in Shechem? come, and I will send thee unto them. And he said to him, Here am I.

Genesis 37:18-24 And when they saw him afar off, even before he came near unto them, they ________________ against him to slay him. 3. Joseph was about to Suffer Really Hard Times.

Genesis 37:25-28 And they sat down to eat bread: and they lifted up their eyes and looked, and, behold, a ____________ of Ishmeelites came from Gilead with their camels bearing ____________ and balm and myrrh, going to carry it down to Egypt. [26] And Judah said unto his brethren, What profit is it if we slay our brother, and ____________ his blood? Genesis 37:29-33 And Reuben returned unto the pit; and, behold, Joseph was not in the pit; and he rent his clothes. [30] And he returned unto his ______________, and said, The child is not; and I, ____________ shall I go? [31] And they took ____________ coat, and killed a kid of the goats, and dipped the coat in the blood; [32] And they sent the coat of many ____________, and they ____________ it to their father; and said, This have we found: know now ____________ it be thy sons coat or no. 4. Joseph was Blessed by God and His Master Eventually Trusted Him with Everything. Then His Integrity was Tested and He was Falsely Accused.

Genesis 39:1-4 And Joseph was brought down to Egypt; and ______________, an officer of ____________, ____________ of the guard, an Egyptian, bought him of the hands of the ___________________, which had brought him down ____________. [2] And the LORD was with Joseph, and he was a prosperous man; and he was in the house of his master the Egyptian. [3] And his master saw that the LORD was with him, and that the LORD made all that he did to prosper in his hand. [4] And Joseph found grace in his sight, and he __________ him: and he made him overseer over his house, and all that he had he put into his hand.

Genesis 39:7-9 And it came to pass after these things, that his masters wife cast her eyes upon Joseph; and she said, Lie with me. [8] But he refused, and said unto his masters wife, Behold, my master wotteth not what is with me in the house, and he hath ________________ all that he hath to my hand; [9] There is none greater in this house than I; ____________ hath he kept back any thing from me but thee, ____________ thou art his wife: how then can I do this great __________________, and sin ____________ God?

5. Even While Joseph was in Prison God was Training Him for a Greater Work.

Genesis 39:19-20 And it came to pass, when his master heard the words of his wife, which she spake unto him, saying, After this manner did thy servant to me; that his wrath was ____________. [20] And ____________ master took him, and put him into the prison, a place where the kings ________________ were bound: and he was there in the prison.
