Joseph Promoted - NAS

Joseph Could Not Know How the Day Would Turn Out. He Had Been Disappointed Before. The Spirit of God was in Him and He Did Whatever There was That Needed to Be Done. In One Day He Came Out of Prison and Became the Second Ruler If All Egypt.

1. Joseph Does Well and Is Promoted.

Genesis 41:25-32 Now Joseph said to Pharaoh, "________________ dreams are one and the same; God has told to Pharaoh what He is about to do. [26] "The seven good cows are seven years; and the seven good ears are seven years; the dreams are one and the same. [27] "The seven lean and ugly cows that came up after them are seven years, and the seven thin ears ______________ by the east wind will be seven years of famine. [28] "It is as I have spoken to Pharaoh: God has shown to Pharaoh what He is about to do. [29] "Behold, seven years of great abundance are __________ in all the land of Egypt; [30] and after them seven years of famine will come, and all the abundance will be forgotten in the land of Egypt, and the famine will __________ the land. Genesis 41:33-36 "Now let Pharaoh look for a man discerning and wise, and set him over the land of Egypt. 2. Joseph Began to Prepare for the Seven Years of Famine Right Away.

Genesis 41:46-49 Now Joseph was thirty years old when he stood before Pharaoh, king of Egypt. And Joseph went out from the ______________ of Pharaoh and went through all the land of Egypt. [47] During the seven years of plenty the land brought forth abundantly. [48] So he ______________ all the food of these seven years which ______________ in the land of Egypt and placed the food in the cities; he placed in every city the food from its own ___________________ fields. Joseph's job was complicated. He had to build places to store the grain in each city. The grain had to be kept dry and away from thieves. He had to find an efficient method of bring the grain to the storehouses. And he needed to be sure everyone participated. His job was not easy.
