1. The Story of This Earth Begins with God.

Genesis 1:1-2 In the beginning God ____________ the heaven and the earth. [2] And the earth was without form, and void; and ______________ was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.

2. On the First Day God Created Light.

Genesis 1:3-5 And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. [4] And God saw the light, that it was good: and God ____________ the light from the darkness. [5] And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the ____________ and the ____________ were the first day.

Which part of the day came first? Was it the evening or the morning? __________________.

3. On the Second Day of Creation What Did God Create?

Genesis 1:6-8 And God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters. Notice that water in two places: on the earth and above the earth. Firmament means air. God called the firmament heaven. There are three heavens in the Bible.
1) The air above the earth
2) The place where the stars are
3) The place where God lives

4. On the Third Day God Made Dry Land Appear.
