Abram was Called by God to Move to a New Place That Would Be Given to His Descendants.

Genesis 12:1-3 The LORD had said to Abram, "Leave your country, your people and your ______________ ________________ and go to the land I will show you. [2] "I will make you into a great nation and I will bless you; I will make your name great, and you will be a ______________. [3] I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse; and all peoples on earth will be ____________ through you."

Genesis 12:4-5 So Abram left, as the LORD had told him; and Lot went with him. Abram was seventy-five years old when he set out from Haran. [10] Lot looked up and saw that the whole plain of the Jordan was well watered, like the garden of the LORD, like the land of Egypt, toward Zoar. (This was before the LORD ________________ Sodom and ______________.)

Genesis 13:11-13 So Lot chose for himself the whole plain of the Jordan and set out toward the east. The two men parted company: [12] Abram lived in the land of Canaan, while Lot lived among the cities of the plain and pitched his tents near Sodom. [13] Now the men of Sodom were wicked and were ____________ ____________ ____________ the LORD.

Abram was older and could have chosen the best for himself. Lot chose to his own hurt because Sodom was so wicked.
