1. The Apostle Paul Defines God's Church As the Pillar and Ground of Truth.
1 Timothy 3:15 But if I tarry long, that thou mayest know how thou _oughtest_ to behave _thyself_ in the house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth.

2. Jesus Reveals That His People Will Be Sanctified by His Truth in Every Age.
John 17:17 _Sanctify_ them through thy truth: thy _word_ is truth.

3. John the Revelator, in the Symbolism of the Four Horsemen, Describes the Advance of God's Truth and Satan's Attempt to Destroy It.
Revelation 6:1-8 And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals, and I heard, as it were the noise of _thunder_, one of the four beasts saying, Come and see. [2] And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer. [3] And when he had opened the second seal, I heard the second beast say, Come and see. [4] And there went out another horse that was red: and power was given to him that sat _thereon_ to take peace from the earth, and that they _should_ kill one another: and there was given unto him a _great_ sword. [6] And I heard a voice in the _midst_ of the four beasts say, A _measure_ of _wheat_ for a penny, and _three_ _measure_s of _barley_ for a penny; and see thou hurt not the oil and the wine. [7] And when he had opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth beast say, Come and see. [8] And I _looked_, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell _followed_ with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with _hunger_, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth.

4. White Horse - Apostolic Purity (A. D. 31 - A. D. 100).
Colossians 1:16 For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or _dominions_, or _principalities_, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:

Revelation 19:7 Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the _marriage_ of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made _herself_ ready.

Each color represents what was taking place in the church.

8. We Are Urged to Earnestly Contend for the Faith Delivered to the Saints.
Jude 1:3 Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should _earnestly_ contend for the faith which was once _delivered_ unto the saints.

9. We Have the Assurance That the Good News of the Original and Everlasting Gospel Will Be Proclaimed to the Ends of the Earth.
Revelation 14:6-7 And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the _everlasting_ gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people, [7] Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his _judgment_ is come: and _worship_ him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the _fountains_ of waters.

10. This Text Describes a People Who Will Keep God's Commandments and Be Filled with the Faith of Jesus.
Revelation 14:12 Here is the _patience_ of the saints: here are they that keep the _commandments_ of God, and the faith of Jesus.

11. We Are Warned to Not Accept Any Teaching That Leads Us Away From Obedience to God's Word Or His Law.
Isaiah 8:20 To the law and to the _testimony_: if they speak not _according_ to this word, it is because there is no light in them.
