1. The prophesies of Daniel Help to Unlock the Mysteries of Revelation.
Daniel 7:1 In the first year of Belshaz'zar king of Babylon, Daniel had a dream and _visions_ of his head as he lay in his bed. Then he wrote down the dream, and told the sum of the matter.

Before doing this lesson it is recommended that you read chapters 7, 8 and 9 of the book of Daniel.

 2. Where Does the Judgment Take Place?
Daniel 7:9-10 As I looked, thrones were placed and one that was ancient of days took his seat; his _raiment_ was white as snow, and the hair of his head like pure wool; his throne was fiery flames, its wheels were _burning_ fire. [10] A stream of fire issued and came forth from before him; a thousand _thousands_ served him, and ten thousand times ten thousand stood before him; the court sat in _judgment_, and the books were opened.

3. When Will the Judgment Take Place?
Daniel 8:14 And he said to him, "For two thousand and three hundred evenings and mornings; then the _sanctuary_ shall be restored to its _rightful_ state."

4. The Book of Leviticus Helps Us to Understand What the Cleansing of the Sanctuary Means.
Leviticus 16:29-30 "And it shall be a statute to you for ever that in the _seventh_ month, on the tenth day of the month, you shall afflict yourselves, and shall do no work, either the native or the _stranger_ who _sojourns_ among you; [30] for on this day shall _atonement_ be made for you, to cleanse you; from all your sins you shall be clean before the LORD.

5. This Is When Daniel's Vision Literally Took Place.
Daniel 8:16-17 And I heard a man's voice _between_ the banks of the U'lai, and it _called_, "_Gabriel_, make this man understand the vision." [17] So he came near where I stood; and when he came, I was _frightened_ and fell upon my face. But he said to me, "Understand, O son of man, that the vision is for the time of the end."

Daniel 8:19 He said, "Behold, I will make known to you what shall be at the latter end of the _indignation_; for it pertains to the _appointed_ time of the end.

6. Who Explained This Vision to Daniel?
Daniel 8:16 And I heard a man's voice between the banks of the U'lai, and it called, "_Gabriel_, make this man _understand_ the vision."

7. Why Was Gabriel's Mission Delayed?
Daniel 8:27 And I, Daniel, was overcome and lay sick for some days; then I rose and went about the king's business; but I was _appalled_ by the vision and did not _understand_ it.

Daniel seems to have been overcome by what the vision implied. He lacked the strength to deal with the vision's message. Sometimes we have to come to understand new truth bit by bit.

 8. Gabriel Returns to Explain Daniel's Vision.
Daniel 9:21-23 While I was _speaking_ in prayer, the man Gabriel, whom I had seen in the vision at the first, came to me in swift flight at the time of the evening _sacrifice_. [22] He came and he said to me, "O Daniel, I have now come out to give you wisdom and understanding. [23] At the _beginning_ of your _supplications_ a word went forth, and I have come to tell it to you, for you are greatly beloved; therefore _consider_ the word and understand the vision.

9. The Key to Biblical Prophecy Is the Day for a Year Principle.
Numbers 14:34 According to the number of the days in which you spied out the land, forty days, for every day a year, you shall bear your _iniquity_, forty years, and you shall know my _displeasure_.'

Ezekiel 4:6 And when you have _completed_ these, you shall lie down a second time, but on your right side, and bear the _punishment_ of the house of Judah; forty days I assign you, a day for each year.

10. This Is the Beginning Date for Both the 490 Years and the 2, 300 Years.
Daniel 9:25 Know therefore and _understand_ that from the going forth of the word to restore and build _Jerusalem_ to the coming of an anointed one, a prince, there shall be seven weeks. Then for sixty-two weeks it shall be built again with squares and moat, but in a _troubled_ time.

11. God Anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and Power.
Luke 3:21-22 Now when all the people were baptized, and when Jesus also had been baptized and was praying, the heaven was opened, [22] and the Holy Spirit _descended_ upon him in bodily form, as a dove, and a voice came from heaven, "Thou art my _beloved_ Son; with thee I am well _pleased_."

Acts 10:38 How God anointed Jesus of _Nazareth_ with the Holy Spirit and with power; how he went about doing good and healing all that were _oppressed_ by the devil, for God was with him.

12. This Text Gives You the Exact Date of Jesus' Death.
Daniel 9:27 And he shall make a strong covenant with many for one week; and for half of the week he shall cause _sacrifice_ and offering to cease; and upon the wing of abominations shall come one who makes _desolate_, until the decreed end is poured out on the _desolator_."

13. The Veil Was Torn From Top to Bottom When Jesus Died.
Matthew 27:51 And behold, the _curtain_ of the temple was torn in two, from top to _bottom_; and the earth shook, and the rocks were split;
