1. The prophesies of Daniel Help to Unlock the Mysteries of Revelation.
Daniel 7:1 In the first year of _Belshazzar_ king of Babylon, Daniel had a dream and visions of his head while on his bed. Then he wrote down the dream, _telling_ the main facts.

Before doing this lesson it is recommended that you read chapters 7, 8 and 9 of the book of Daniel.

 2. Where Does the Judgment Take Place?
Daniel 7:9-10 "I watched till thrones were put in place, And the Ancient of Days was seated; His _garment_ was white as snow, And the hair of His head was like pure wool. His throne was a fiery flame, Its wheels a _burning_ fire; [10] A fiery stream issued And came forth from before Him. A thousand _thousands_ _ministered_ to Him; Ten thousand times ten thousand stood before Him. The court was seated, And the books were opened.

3. When Will the Judgment Take Place?
Daniel 8:14 And he said to me, "For two _thousand_ three hundred days; then the _sanctuary_ shall be cleansed."

4. The Book of Leviticus Helps Us to Understand What the Cleansing of the Sanctuary Means.
Leviticus 16:29-30 This shall be a statute forever for you: In the seventh month, on the tenth day of the month, you shall afflict your souls, and do no work at all, _whether_ a native of your own _country_ or a _stranger_ who dwells among you. [30] For on that day the priest shall make _atonement_ for you, to cleanse you, that you may be clean from all your sins before the LORD.

5. This Is When Daniel's Vision Literally Took Place.
Daniel 8:16-17 And I heard a man's voice _between_ the banks of the Ulai, who _called_, and said, "_Gabriel_, make this man understand the vision." [17] So he came near where I stood, and when he came I was afraid and fell on my face; but he said to me, "Understand, son of man, that the vision _refers_ to the time of the end."

Daniel 8:19 And he said, "Look, I am making known to you what shall happen in the latter time of the _indignation_; for at the _appointed_ time the end shall be.

6. Who Explained This Vision to Daniel?
Daniel 8:16 And I heard a man's voice between the banks of the Ulai, who called, and said, "_Gabriel_, make this man _understand_ the vision."

7. Why Was Gabriel's Mission Delayed?
Daniel 8:27 And I, Daniel, fainted and was sick for days; afterward I arose and went about the king's business. I was _astonished_ by the vision, but no one _understood_ it.

Daniel seems to have been overcome by what the vision implied. He lacked the strength to deal with the vision's message. Sometimes we have to come to understand new truth bit by bit.

 8. Gabriel Returns to Explain Daniel's Vision.
Daniel 9:21-23 Yes, while I was _speaking_ in prayer, the man Gabriel, whom I had seen in the vision at the beginning, being caused to fly swiftly, reached me about the time of the evening offering. [22] And he informed me, and talked with me, and said, "O Daniel, I have now come forth to give you skill to understand. [23] At the beginning of your _supplications_ the command went out, and I have come to tell you, for you are _greatly_ _beloved_; therefore _consider_ the matter, and understand the vision:

9. The Key to Biblical Prophecy Is the Day for a Year Principle.
Numbers 14:34 _According_ to the number of the days in which you spied out the land, forty days, for each day you shall bear your guilt one year, namely forty years, and you shall know My _rejection_.

Ezekiel 4:6 And when you have _completed_ them, lie again on your right side; then you shall bear the iniquity of the house of _Judah_ forty days. I have laid on you a day for each year.

10. This Is the Beginning Date for Both the 490 Years and the 2, 300 Years.
Daniel 9:25 "Know therefore and _understand_, That from the going forth of the command To restore and build Jerusalem Until Messiah the Prince, There shall be seven weeks and sixty-two weeks; The street shall be built again, and the wall, Even in _troublesome_ times.

11. God Anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and Power.
Luke 3:21-22 When all the people were baptized, it came to pass that Jesus also was baptized; and while He prayed, the heaven was opened. [22] And the Holy Spirit _descended_ in bodily form like a dove upon Him, and a voice came from heaven which said, "You are My _beloved_ Son; in You I am well _pleased_."

Acts 10:38 How God anointed Jesus of _Nazareth_ with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were _oppressed_ by the devil, for God was with Him.

12. This Text Gives You the Exact Date of Jesus' Death.
Daniel 9:27 Then he shall confirm a covenant with many for one week; But in the middle of the week He shall bring an end to _sacrifice_ and offering. And on the wing of abominations shall be one who makes desolate, Even until the _consummation_, which is _determined_, Is poured out on the desolate."
