1. The prophesies of Daniel Help to Unlock the Mysteries of Revelation.
Daniel 7:1 In the first year of _Belshazzar_ king of Babylon, Daniel had a dream, and visions passed through his mind as he was lying on his bed. He wrote down the _substance_ of his dream.

Before doing this lesson it is recommended that you read chapters 7, 8 and 9 of the book of Daniel.

 2. Where Does the Judgment Take Place?
Daniel 7:9-10 "As I looked, "thrones were set in place, and the Ancient of Days took his seat. His _clothing_ was as white as snow; the hair of his head was white like wool. His throne was _flaming_ with fire, and its wheels were all ablaze. [10] A river of fire was _flowing_, coming out from before him. Thousands upon thousands _attended_ him; ten thousand times ten thousand stood before him. The court was seated, and the books were opened.

3. When Will the Judgment Take Place?
Daniel 8:14 He said to me, "It will take %"2,300 evenings and mornings; then the _sanctuary_ will be _reconsecrated_."

4. The Book of Leviticus Helps Us to Understand What the Cleansing of the Sanctuary Means.
Leviticus 16:29-30 "This is to be a _lasting_ ordinance for you: On the tenth day of the _seventh_ month you must deny yourselves and not do any work--whether native-born or an alien living among you-- [30] because on this day _atonement_ will be made for you, to cleanse you. Then, before the LORD, you will be clean from all your sins.

5. This Is When Daniel's Vision Literally Took Place.
Daniel 8:16-17 And I heard a man's voice from the Ulai calling, "Gabriel, tell this man the meaning of the vision." [17] As he came near the place where I was standing, I was _terrified_ and fell _prostrate_. "Son of man," he said to me, "_understand_ that the vision concerns the time of the end."

Daniel 8:19 He said: "I am going to tell you what will happen later in the time of wrath, because the vision _concerns_ the _appointed_ time of the end.

6. Who Explained This Vision to Daniel?
Daniel 8:16 And I heard a man's voice from the Ulai calling, "_Gabriel_, tell this man the _meaning_ of the vision."

7. Why Was Gabriel's Mission Delayed?
Daniel 8:27 I, Daniel, was _exhausted_ and lay ill for several days. Then I got up and went about the king's business. I was appalled by the vision; it was beyond _understanding_.

Daniel seems to have been overcome by what the vision implied. He lacked the strength to deal with the vision's message. Sometimes we have to come to understand new truth bit by bit.

 8. Gabriel Returns to Explain Daniel's Vision.
Daniel 9:21-23 While I was still in prayer, Gabriel, the man I had seen in the earlier vision, came to me in swift flight about the time of the _evening_ _sacrifice_. [22] He instructed me and said to me, "Daniel, I have now come to give you insight and understanding. [23] As soon as you began to pray, an answer was given, which I have come to tell you, for you are highly _esteemed_. Therefore, _consider_ the _message_ and understand the vision:

9. The Key to Biblical Prophecy Is the Day for a Year Principle.
Numbers 14:34 For forty years--one year for each of the forty days you _explored_ the land--you will _suffer_ for your sins and know what it is like to have me against you.'

Ezekiel 4:6 "After you have _finished_ this, lie down again, this time on your right side, and bear the sin of the house of Judah. I have _assigned_ you 40 days, a day for each year.

10. This Is the Beginning Date for Both the 490 Years and the 2, 300 Years.
Daniel 9:25 "Know and _understand_ this: From the issuing of the decree to restore and rebuild _Jerusalem_ until the Anointed One, the ruler, comes, there will be seven 'sevens,' and sixty-two 'sevens.' It will be rebuilt with streets and a trench, but in times of _trouble_.

11. God Anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and Power.
Luke 3:21-22 When all the people were being baptized, Jesus was baptized too. And as he was _praying_, heaven was opened [22] and the Holy Spirit _descended_ on him in bodily form like a dove. And a voice came from heaven: "You are my Son, whom I love; with you I am well _pleased_."

Acts 10:38 How God _anointed_ Jesus of _Nazareth_ with the Holy Spirit and power, and how he went around doing good and healing all who were under the power of the devil, because God was with him.

12. This Text Gives You the Exact Date of Jesus' Death.
Daniel 9:27 He will confirm a covenant with many for one 'seven.' In the middle of the 'seven' he will put an end to _sacrifice_ and offering. And on a wing [of the temple] he will set up an _abomination_ that causes _desolation_, until the end that is decreed is poured out on him. "

13. The Veil Was Torn From Top to Bottom When Jesus Died.
Matthew 27:51 At that moment the _curtain_ of the temple was torn in two from top to _bottom_. The earth shook and the rocks split.
