1. The prophesies of Daniel Help to Unlock the Mysteries of Revelation.
Daniel 7:1 In the first year of _Belshazzar_ king of Babylon Daniel saw a dream and visions in his mind as he lay on his bed; then he wrote the dream down and related the _following_ summary of it.

Before doing this lesson it is recommended that you read chapters 7, 8 and 9 of the book of Daniel.

 2. Where Does the Judgment Take Place?
Daniel 7:9-10 "I kept looking Until thrones were set up, And the Ancient of Days took His seat; His vesture was like white snow And the hair of His head like pure wool. His throne was ablaze with flames, Its wheels were a _burning_ fire. [10] "A river of fire was _flowing_ And coming out from before Him; Thousands upon thousands were _attending_ Him, And myriads upon myriads were _standing_ before Him; The court sat, And the books were opened.

3. When Will the Judgment Take Place?
Daniel 8:14 He said to me, "For 2,300 evenings and mornings; then the holy place will be _properly_ _restored_."

4. The Book of Leviticus Helps Us to Understand What the Cleansing of the Sanctuary Means.
Leviticus 16:29-30 "This shall be a _permanent_ statute for you: in the seventh month, on the tenth day of the month, you shall humble your souls and not do any work, _whether_ the native, or the alien who _sojourns_ among you; [30] for it is on this day that _atonement_ shall be made for you to cleanse you; you will be clean from all your sins before the LORD.

5. This Is When Daniel's Vision Literally Took Place.
Daniel 8:16-17 And I heard the voice of a man between the banks of Ulai, and he called out and said, "_Gabriel_, give this man an under_standing_ of the vision." [17] So he came near to where I was _standing_, and when he came I was _frightened_ and fell on my face; but he said to me, "Son of man, understand that the vision _pertains_ to the time of the end."

Daniel 8:19 He said, "Behold, I am going to let you know what will occur at the final period of the _indignation_, for it pertains to the _appointed_ time of the end.

6. Who Explained This Vision to Daniel?
Daniel 8:16 And I heard the voice of a man between the banks of Ulai, and he called out and said, "_Gabriel_, give this man an _understanding_ of the vision."

7. Why Was Gabriel's Mission Delayed?
Daniel 8:27 Then I, Daniel, was _exhausted_ and sick for days. Then I got up again and carried on the king's business; but I was _astounded_ at the vision, and there was none to explain it.

Daniel seems to have been overcome by what the vision implied. He lacked the strength to deal with the vision's message. Sometimes we have to come to understand new truth bit by bit.

 8. Gabriel Returns to Explain Daniel's Vision.
Daniel 9:21-23 While I was still speaking in prayer, then the man Gabriel, whom I had seen in the vision _previously_, came to me in my extreme _weariness_ about the time of the evening offering. [22] He gave me instruction and talked with me and said, "O Daniel, I have now come forth to give you insight with understanding. [23] "At the _beginning_ of your _supplications_ the command was issued, and I have come to tell you, for you are highly _esteemed_; so give heed to the message and gain understanding of the vision.

9. The Key to Biblical Prophecy Is the Day for a Year Principle.
Numbers 14:34 'According to the _number_ of days which you spied out the land, forty days, for every day you shall bear your guilt a year, even forty years, and you will know My _opposition_.

Ezekiel 4:6 "When you have _completed_ these, you shall lie down a _second_ time, but on your right side and bear the iniquity of the house of Judah; I have assigned it to you for forty days, a day for each year.

10. This Is the Beginning Date for Both the 490 Years and the 2, 300 Years.
Daniel 9:25 "So you are to know and discern that from the issuing of a decree to restore and rebuild _Jerusalem_ until _Messiah_ the Prince there will be seven weeks and sixty-two weeks; it will be built again, with plaza and moat, even in times of _distress_.

11. God Anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and Power.
Luke 3:21-22 Now when all the people were baptized, Jesus was also baptized, and while He was _praying_, heaven was opened, [22] and the Holy Spirit _descended_ upon Him in bodily form like a dove, and a voice came out of heaven, "You are My _beloved_ Son, in You I am well-pleased."

Acts 10:38 "You know of Jesus of Nazareth, how God _anointed_ Him with the Holy Spirit and with power, and how He went about doing good and healing all who were _oppressed_ by the devil, for God was with Him.

12. This Text Gives You the Exact Date of Jesus' Death.
Daniel 9:27 "And he will make a firm covenant with the many for one week, but in the middle of the week he will put a stop to _sacrifice_ and grain offering; and on the wing of abominations will come one who makes desolate, even until a _complete_ _destruction_, one that is decreed, is poured out on the one who makes desolate."

13. The Veil Was Torn From Top to Bottom When Jesus Died.
Matthew 27:51 And behold, the veil of the _temple_ was torn in two from top to _bottom_; and the earth shook and the rocks were split.
