1. We Are to Represent Christ to the World.
2 Corinthians 5:20 Now then we are _ambassadors_ for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christs stead, be ye _reconciled_ to God.
2. Lift up a Standard for the People.
Isaiah 62:10 Go through, go through the gates; prepare ye the way of the people; cast up, cast up the _highway_; gather out the stones; lift up a _standard_ for the people.
3. Love Not the World for It Will Pass Away.
1 John 2:15-17 Love not the world, _neither_ the _things_ that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. [16] For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. [17] And the world _passeth_ away, and the lust thereof: but he that _doeth_ the will of God _abideth_ for ever.
4. Do Not Be Conformed to the World. Instead, Be Made New by Jesus.
Romans 12:1-2 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your _reasonable_ service. [2] And be not _conformed_ to this world: but be ye _transformed_ by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
5. What Should Be Upper Most in Our Minds?
Philippians 4:7-8 And the peace of God, which _passeth_ all _understanding_, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. [8] _Finally_, _brethren_, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
6. How Can We Change?
2 Corinthians 3:18 But we all, with open face _beholding_ as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are _changed_ into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.
7. God Is Not Pleased When We Love Violence.
Psalms 11:5 The LORD trieth the _righteous_: but the wicked and him that loveth _violence_ his soul hateth.
8. Turn Away From Vanity.
Psalms 119:37 Turn away mine eyes from _beholding_ vanity; and _quicken_ thou me in thy way.
9. Seek to Have the Same Way of Thinking You See in Jesus.
Philippians 2:5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in _Christ_ _Jesus_:
10. We Should Dress Modestly and Refrain From Ornamentation and Excessive Cost and Display in the Things We Wear.
1 Timothy 2:9-10 In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with _shamefacedness_ and sobriety; not with broided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array; [10] But (which becometh women _professing_ godliness) with good works.
11. True Beauty Is Inside Our Hearts.
1 Peter 3:2-5 While they behold your chaste _conversation_ coupled with fear. [3] Whose adorning let it not be that outward adorning of plaiting the hair, and of wearing of gold, or of putting on of apparel; [4] But let it be the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not _corruptible_, even the _ornament_ of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price. [5] For after this manner in the old time the holy women also, who trusted in God, adorned _themselves_, being in _subjection_ unto their own _husbands_:

14. God Reveals His Displeasure When People Artificially Adorn Themselves and Lack Character.
Isaiah 3:16-24 Moreover the LORD saith, Because the daughters of Zion are haughty, and walk with _stretched_ forth necks and wanton eyes, walking and mincing as they go, and making a tinkling with their feet: [17] Therefore the LORD will smite with a scab the crown of the head of the daughters of Zion, and the LORD will _discover_ their secret parts. [18] In that day the Lord will take away the bravery of their tinkling ornaments about their feet, and their cauls, and their round tires like the moon, [19] The chains, and the _bracelets_, and the _mufflers_, [20] The bonnets, and the ornaments of the legs, and the _headbands_, and the tablets, and the _earrings_, [21] The rings, and nose jewels, [22] The _changeable_ suits of apparel, and the mantles, and the wimples, and the _crisping_ pins, [23] The glasses, and the fine linen, and the hoods, and the vails. [24] And it shall come to pass, that instead of sweet smell there shall be stink; and instead of a girdle a rent; and instead of well set hair _baldness_; and instead of a _stomacher_ a girding of _sackcloth_; and burning instead of beauty.
15. Jewelry Is Associated with Idolatry and Forgetting God.
Hosea 2:13 And I will visit upon her the days of Baalim, wherein she burned incense to them, and she decked _herself_ with her _earrings_ and her jewels, and she went after her lovers, and forgat me, saith the LORD.
16. The False Church Is Pictured by God As Being Decked Out with Jewels. She Has Left Her True Lover, Jesus Christ.
Revelation 17:1-5 And there came one of the seven angels which had the seven vials, and talked with me, saying unto me, Come hither; I will shew unto thee the _judgment_ of the great whore that sitteth upon many waters: [2] With whom the kings of the earth have _committed_ fornication, and the inhabitants of the earth have been made drunk with the wine of her fornication. [3] So he carried me away in the spirit into the _wilderness_: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of _blasphemy_, having seven heads and ten horns. [4] And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and _precious_ stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and _filthiness_ of her fornication: [5] And upon her _forehead_ was a name written, MYSTERY, _BABYLON_ THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF _HARLOTS_ AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.
17. Jesus Gives Us True Beauty When We Wear His Robe of Righteousness. What Is More Beautiful Than Happiness Within?
Isaiah 61:10 I will greatly rejoice in the LORD, my soul shall be joyful in my God; for he hath clothed me with the garments of _salvation_, he hath covered me with the robe of _righteousness_, as a bridegroom decketh himself with _ornaments_, and as a bride adorneth herself with her jewels.
18. Jesus Said, "I Do Always Those Things Which Please Him." by God's Grace, We Should Seek to Be Like Jesus.
John 8:29 And he that sent me is with me: the Father hath not left me alone; for I do always those _things_ that _please_ him.
19. Happiness Comes From Knowing and Doing God's Will.

20. I Delight to Do Thy Will, My God.
