1. Jesus Promised to Return.
John 14:1-3 "Do not let your heart be _troubled_; believe in God, believe also in Me. [2] "In My _Father's_ house are many _dwelling_ places; if it were not so, I would have told you; for I go to prepare a place for you. [3] "If I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and _receive_ you to Myself, that where I am, there you may be also.
2. It Will Be the Same Jesus Who Went to Heaven.
Acts 1:9-11 And after He had said these things, He was lifted up while they were looking on, and a cloud _received_ Him out of their sight. [10] And as they were gazing intently into the sky while He was going, behold, two men in white _clothing_ stood _beside_ them. [11] They also said, "Men of _Galilee_, why do you stand looking into the sky? This Jesus, who has been taken up from you into heaven, will come in just the same way as you have _watched_ Him go into heaven."
3. The Righteous Dead Will Be Resurrected and Will Ascend with the Righteous Living to Meet Jesus in the Sky.
1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 For the Lord _Himself_ will _descend_ from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel and with the _trumpet_ of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. [17] Then we who are alive and remain will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we shall _always_ be with the Lord.
4. There Will Be Two Resurrections, the Resurrection of Life and the Resurrection of Damnation.
John 5:28-29 "Do not marvel at this; for an hour is _coming_, in which all who are in the tombs will hear His voice, [29] and will come forth; those who did the good deeds to a resurrection of life, those who _committed_ the evil deeds to a resurrection of _judgment_.
5. The Wicked Will Be Destroyed at Jesus Second Coming.
2 Thessalonians 1:8 Dealing out _retribution_ to those who do not know God and to those who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus.
6. As Conquering King Jesus Will Redeem His People.
Revelation 19:11-16 And I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse, and He who sat on it is called _Faithful_ and True, and in _righteousness_ He judges and wages war. [12] His eyes are a flame of fire, and on His head are many _diadems_; and He has a name written on Him which no one knows except _Himself_. [13] He is clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God. [14] And the armies which are in heaven, clothed in fine linen, white and clean, were _following_ Him on white horses. [15] From His mouth comes a sharp sword, so that with it He may _strike_ down the _nations_, and He will rule them with a rod of iron; and He _treads_ the wine press of the _fierce_ wrath of God, the Almighty. [16] And on His robe and on His thigh He has a name written, "KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS."
7. Satan Will Be Bound for 1000 Years.
Revelation 20:1-2 Then I saw an angel coming down from heaven, holding the key of the abyss and a great chain in his hand. [2] And he laid hold of the _dragon_, the _serpent_ of old, who is the devil and Satan, and bound him for a _thousand_ years;
8. Satan Is Bound to This Desolate Earth in Chains of Darkness with No One to tempt.
2 Peter 2:4 For if God did not spare angels when they sinned, but cast them into hell and _committed_ them to pits of darkness, reserved for _judgment_;
9. The Greek Word for Bottomless Pit Means "Without Form and Void." (See Also Genesis 1:2).

10. During This Time the Earth Is Desolate (Without Form and Void) with No One Inhabiting It.
Jeremiah 4:23-27 I looked on the earth, and behold, it was formless and void; And to the heavens, and they had no light. [24] I looked on the _mountains_, and behold, they were quaking, And all the hills moved to and fro. [25] I looked, and behold, there was no man, And all the birds of the heavens had fled. [26] I looked, and behold, the _fruitful_ land was a _wilderness_, And all its cities were pulled down Before the LORD, before His fierce anger. [27] For thus says the LORD, "The whole land shall be a _desolation_, Yet I will not execute a _complete_ _destruction_.
11. Those Slain by the Brightness of His Coming Will Not Be Buried.
Jeremiah 25:33 "Those slain by the LORD on that day will be from one end of the earth to the other. They will not be _lamented_, _gathered_ or buried; they will be like dung on the face of the ground.
12. The Righteous Dwell with God in Heaven for 1000 Years. They Sit on Thrones and Participate in Judgment.
Revelation 20:4 Then I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was given to them. And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of their _testimony_ of Jesus and because of the word of God, and those who had not _worshiped_ the beast or his image, and had not _received_ the mark on their forehead and on their hand; and they came to life and reigned with Christ for a _thousand_ years.
13. The Saints Will Judge the World.
1 Corinthians 6:2 Or do you not know that the saints will judge the world? If the world is judged by you, are you not _competent_ to _constitute_ the smallest law courts?
14. The Resurrection of the Wicked Is So They Can Receive Their Final Reward. It Comes After the 1000 Years (First Part).
Revelation 20:5 The rest of the dead did not come to life until the thousand years were _completed_. This is the first _resurrection_.
15. Satan Is Loosed From His Prison (Chains of Darkness) to Lead the Resurrected Wicked in a Final Attack on God.
Revelation 20:7 When the thousand years are _completed_, Satan will be _released_ from his prison,
16. Satan and His Evil Hosts Are Finally Completely Destroyed.
Revelation 20:9 And they came up on the broad plain of the earth and _surrounded_ the camp of the saints and the beloved city, and fire came down from heaven and _devoured_ them.
17. God Then Creates a Beautiful New World in Place of the Old One.
Revelation 21:1-3 Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth; for the first heaven and the first earth passed away, and there is no longer any sea. [2] And I saw the holy city, new _Jerusalem_, coming down out of heaven from God, made ready as a bride adorned for her _husband_. [3] And I heard a loud voice from the throne, saying, "Behold, the _tabernacle_ of God is among men, and He will dwell among them, and they shall be His _people_, and God _Himself_ will be among them,
