[12] The _disciples_ then said to Him, "Lord, if he has fallen asleep, he will recover." [13] Now Jesus had spoken of his death, but they thought that He was _speaking_ of _literal_ sleep. [14] So Jesus then said to them _plainly_, "Lazarus is dead,

[16] For the Lord _Himself_ will _descend_ from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the _archangel_ and with the _trumpet_ of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first.

3. There Are Two Resurrections (Life and Death).
John 5:28-29 "Do not marvel at this; for an hour is _coming_, in which all who are in the tombs will hear His voice, [29] and will come forth; those who did the good deeds to a resurrection of life, those who _committed_ the evil deeds to a resurrection of _judgment_.

4. God Created Man Out of the Dust of the Ground and Breathed into His Nostrils the Breath of Life. Then Man Became a Living Soul. God Did Not Put a Soul into Man.

7. The Breath, Or Spirit, Returns to God Who Gave It, the Thoughts Perish.

To Him be honor and eternal dominion! Amen.

1 Corinthians 15:51-54 Behold, I tell you a _mystery_; we will not all sleep, but we will all be changed, [52] in a moment, in the _twinkling_ of an eye, at the last trumpet; for the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed. [53] For this perishable must put on the imperishable, and this mortal must put on immortality.
