1. Without Faith It Is Impossible to Please God.
Hebrews 11:6 And without faith it is _impossible_ to please him. For whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he _rewards_ those who seek him.
2. God Gives a Measure of Faith to Every Man.
Romans 12:3 For by the grace given to me I bid every one among you not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think with sober judgment, each _according_ to the measure of faith which God has _assigned_ him.

4. Hearing God's Word Will Increase Our Faith.
Romans 10:17 So faith comes from what is heard, and what is heard comes by the _preaching_ of _Christ_.
5. Faith Is the Foundation of Our Christian Experience.
Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the _assurance_ of things hoped for, the _conviction_ of things not seen.
6. God's Word Benefits Only As We Apply It to Our Lives.
Hebrews 4:2 For good news came to us just as to them; but the message which they heard did not benefit them, _because_ it did not meet with faith in the _hearers_.
7. Faith Is Confidence in God That Leads Us to Obey Him.
1 John 5:14 And this is the _confidence_ which we have in him, that if we ask anything _according_ to his will he hears us.
8. Faith Manifests Itself in Action.
Luke 5:20 And when he saw _their_ faith he said, "Man, your sins are _forgiven_ you."
9. Faith Grows.
Matthew 17:20 He said to them, "Because of your little faith. For truly, I say to you, if you have faith as a grain of mustard seed, you will say to this _mountain_, 'Move from here to there,' and it will move; and _nothing_ will be _impossible_ to you."
10. We Are Saved by Grace Through Faith.
Ephesians 2:8 For by grace you have been saved through _faith_; and this is not your own _doing_, it is the gift of God--

Romans 1:5 Through whom we have received grace and _apostleship_ to bring about the _obedience_ of faith for the sake of his name among all the nations,

Hebrews 6:12 So that you may not be sluggish, but _imitators_ of those who through faith and patience inherit the _promises_.
14. Faith without Works Is a Dead Faith.
James 2:17 So _faith_ by itself, if it has no _works_, is dead.
15. We Overcome the World Through Faith.
1 John 5:4-5 For _whatever_ is born of God overcomes the world; and this is the victory that overcomes the world, our faith. [5] Who is it that overcomes the world but he who _believes_ that Jesus is the Son of God?
