1. God Is Love.
1 John 4:8 He _who_ does not love does not _know_ God, for God is love.

2. The Enemy of God and Man.
Matthew 13:24-28 Another _parable_ He put forth to them, _saying_: "The _kingdom_ of heaven is like a man who sowed good seed in his field; [25] but while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat and went his way. [26] But when the grain had _sprouted_ and _produced_ a crop, then the tares also _appeared_. [27] So the servants of the owner came and said to him, 'Sir, did you not sow good seed in your field? How then does it have tares?' [28] He said to them, 'An enemy has done this.' The servants said to him, 'Do you want us then to go and _gather_ them up?'

3. Lucifer Was Once Part of Heaven.
Ezekiel 28:12-17 "Son of man, take up a _lamentation_ for the king of Tyre, and say to him, 'Thus says the Lord God: "You were the seal of perfection, Full of wisdom and perfect in beauty. [13] You were in Eden, the garden of God; Every _precious_ stone was your covering: The sardius, topaz, and diamond, Beryl, onyx, and jasper, _Sapphire_, _turquoise_, and emerald with gold. The _workmanship_ of your _timbrels_ and pipes Was _prepared_ for you on the day you were created. [14] "You were the anointed cherub who covers; I _established_ you; You were on the holy mountain of God; You walked back and forth in the midst of fiery stones. [15] You were perfect in your ways from the day you were created, Till iniquity was found in you. [16] "By the abundance of your trading You became filled with _violence_ within, And you sinned; Therefore I cast you as a profane thing Out of the mountain of God; And I _destroyed_ you, O covering cherub, From the midst of the fiery stones. [17] "Your heart was lifted up because of your beauty; You _corrupted_ your wisdom for the sake of your _splendor_; I cast you to the ground, I laid you before kings, That they might gaze at you.

4. Lucifer Wanted to Exalt Himself.
Isaiah 14:12-14 "How you are fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! How you are cut down to the ground, You who _weakened_ the _nations_! [13] For you have said in your heart: 'I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God; I will also sit on the mount of the _congregation_ On the _farthest_ sides of the north; [14] I will ascend above the _heights_ of the clouds, I will be like the Most High.'

5. War in Heaven and Satan (Lucifer) Cast Out.
Revelation 12:7-9 And war broke out in heaven: _Michael_ and his angels fought with the dragon; and the dragon and his angels fought, [8] but they did not _prevail_, nor was a place found for them in heaven any longer. [9] So the great dragon was cast out, that _serpent_ of old, called the Devil and Satan, who _deceives_ the whole world; he was cast to the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

Luke 10:18 And He said to them, "I saw Satan fall like _lightning_ from _heaven_.

6. God Created Man in His Image.
Genesis 1:27 So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and _female_ He created _them_.

7. Sin Lead to Mistrust, Separation, and Death.
Genesis 3:1-7 Now the serpent was more _cunning_ than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said to the woman, Has God indeed said, You shall not eat of every tree of the garden? [2] And the woman said to the serpent, We may eat the fruit of the trees of the garden; [3] but of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God has said, You shall not eat it, nor shall you touch it, lest you die. [4] Then the serpent said to the woman, You will not _surely_ die. [5] For God knows that in the day you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, _knowing_ good and evil. [6] So when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, that it was _pleasant_ to the eyes, and a tree _desirable_ to make one wise, she took of its fruit and ate. She also gave to her _husband_ with her, and he ate. [7] Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they knew that they were _naked_; and they _sewed_ fig _leaves_ _together_ and made _themselves_ _coverings_.

Isaiah 59:1-2 Behold, the Lord's hand is not _shortened_, That it cannot save; Nor His ear heavy, That it cannot hear. [2] But your _iniquities_ have _separated_ you from your God; And your sins have hidden His face from you, So that He will not hear.

Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is _eternal_ life in _Christ_ Jesus our Lord.

8. The Nature of Man Changed.
Jeremiah 17:9 "The heart is _deceitful_ above all things, And _desperately_ wicked; Who can know it?

9. The Entire Human Race Was Affected.
Romans 5:12 Therefore, just as through one man sin _entered_ the world, and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men, _because_ all sinned--

Romans 6:16 Do you not know that to whom you present _yourselves_ slaves to obey, you are that one's slaves whom you obey, whether of sin leading to death, or of obedience leading to _righteousness_?

10. Jesus Took Man's Nature and Was Victorious.
Hebrews 2:14-17 Inasmuch then as the children have partaken of flesh and blood, He Himself likewise shared in the same, that through death He might destroy him who had the power of death, that is, the devil, [15] and release those who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage. [16] For indeed He does not give aid to angels, but He does give aid to the seed of Abraham. [17] _Therefore_, in all things He had to be made like His _brethren_, that He might be a _merciful_ and _faithful_ High Priest in things _pertaining_ to God, to make _propitiation_ for the sins of the people.

Romans 5:17-19 For if by the one man's offense death reigned through the one, much more those who receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ.) [18] Therefore, as through one man's offense _judgment_ came to all men, resulting in _condemnation_, even so through one Man's righteous act the free gift came to all men, resulting in _justification_ of life. [19] For as by one man's dis_obedience_ many were made sinners, so also by one Man's _obedience_ many will be made righteous.

11. Through Jesus Salvation Is Ours As a Gift.
Romans 3:24-25 Being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, [25] whom God set forth as a _propitiation_ by His blood, through faith, to demonstrate His _righteousness_, because in His _forbearance_ God had passed over the sins that were previously committed,

12. Jesus Is with Us.
Isaiah 41:13 For I, the Lord your God, will hold your _right_ hand, _Saying_ to you, 'Fear not, I will help you.'

13. Satan Will Be Destroyed.
Ezekiel 28:17-18 "Your heart was lifted up because of your beauty; You _corrupted_ your wisdom for the sake of your splendor; I cast you to the ground, I laid you before kings, That they might gaze at you. [18] "You defiled your _sanctuaries_ By the _multitude_ of your iniquities, By the _iniquity_ of your trading; Therefore I brought fire from your midst; It _devoured_ you, And I turned you to ashes upon the earth In the sight of all who saw you.

14. Our God Will Make All Things New.
Revelation 21:1-5 Now I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away. Also there was no more sea. [2] Then I, John, saw the holy city, New _Jerusalem_, coming down out of heaven from God, _prepared_ as a bride adorned for her _husband_. [3] And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, "Behold, the _tabernacle_ of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. God _Himself_ will be with them and be their God. [4] And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor _sorrow_, nor _crying_. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away." [5] Then He who sat on the _throne_ said, "Behold, I make all things new." And He said to me, "Write, for these words are true and _faithful_."

15. Sin Will Never Be Again.
Nahum 1:9 What do you _conspire_ _against_ the Lord? He will make an utter end of it. Affliction will not rise up a second time.
