1. God Is Love.
1 John 4:8 The one _who_ does not love does not _know_ God, for God is love.

2. The Enemy of God and Man.
Matthew 13:24-28 Jesus _presented_ another parable to them, saying, "The _kingdom_ of heaven may be _compared_ to a man who sowed good seed in his field. [25] "But while his men were _sleeping_, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went away. [26] "But when the wheat _sprouted_ and bore grain, then the tares became _evident_ also. [27] "The slaves of the _landowner_ came and said to him, 'Sir, did you not sow good seed in your field? How then does it have tares?' [28] "And he said to them, 'An enemy has done this!' The slaves said to him, 'Do you want us, then, to go and gather them up?'

3. Lucifer Was Once Part of Heaven.
Ezekiel 28:12-17 "Son of man, take up a _lamentation_ over the king of Tyre and say to him, 'Thus says the Lord GOD, "You had the seal of perfection, Full of wisdom and perfect in beauty. [13] "You were in Eden, the garden of God; Every _precious_ stone was your covering: The ruby, the topaz and the diamond; The beryl, the onyx and the jasper; The lapis lazuli, the _turquoise_ and the emerald; And the gold, the _workmanship_ of your _settings_ and sockets, Was in you. On the day that you were created They were _prepared_. [14] "You were the anointed cherub who covers, And I placed you there. You were on the holy mountain of God; You walked in the midst of the stones of fire. [15] "You were _blameless_ in your ways From the day you were created Until _unrighteousness_ was found in you. [16] "By the abundance of your trade You were internally filled with _violence_, And you sinned; _Therefore_ I have cast you as profane From the mountain of God. And I have _destroyed_ you, O covering cherub, From the midst of the stones of fire. [17] "Your heart was lifted up because of your beauty; You _corrupted_ your wisdom by reason of your _splendor_. I cast you to the ground; I put you before kings, That they may see you.

4. Lucifer Wanted to Exalt Himself.
Isaiah 14:12-14 "How you have fallen from heaven, O star of the morning, son of the dawn! You have been cut down to the earth, You who have _weakened_ the _nations_! [13] "But you said in your heart, 'I will ascend to heaven; I will raise my throne above the stars of God, And I will sit on the mount of _assembly_ In the _recesses_ of the north. [14] 'I will ascend above the _heights_ of the clouds; I will make myself like the Most High.'

5. War in Heaven and Satan (Lucifer) Cast Out.
Revelation 12:7-9 And there was war in heaven, _Michael_ and his angels waging war with the dragon. The dragon and his angels waged war, [8] and they were not strong enough, and there was no _longer_ a place found for them in heaven. [9] And the great dragon was thrown down, the _serpent_ of old who is _called_ the devil and Satan, who _deceives_ the whole world; he was thrown down to the earth, and his angels were thrown down with him.

Luke 10:18 And He said to them, "I was _watching_ Satan fall from heaven like _lightning_.

6. God Created Man in His Image.
Genesis 1:27 God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him; male and _female_ He created _them_.

7. Sin Lead to Mistrust, Separation, and Death.
Genesis 3:1-7 Now the serpent was more _crafty_ than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said to the woman, "Indeed, has God said, 'You shall not eat from any tree of the garden '?" [2] The woman said to the serpent, "From the fruit of the trees of the garden we may eat; [3] but from the fruit of the tree which is in the _middle_ of the garden, God has said, 'You shall not eat from it or touch it, or you will die.' " [4] The serpent said to the woman, "You _surely_ will not die! [5] "For God knows that in the day you eat from it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, _knowing_ good and evil." [6] When the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was a _delight_ to the eyes, and that the tree was _desirable_ to make one wise, she took from its fruit and ate; and she gave also to her _husband_ with her, and he ate. [7] Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they _sewed_ fig _leaves_ _together_ and made _themselves_ loin _coverings_.

Isaiah 59:1-2 Behold, the LORD'S hand is not so short That it cannot save; Nor is His ear so dull That it cannot hear. [2] But your _iniquities_ have made a _separation_ _between_ you and your God, And your sins have hidden His face from you so that He does not hear.

Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is _eternal_ life in _Christ_ Jesus our Lord.

8. The Nature of Man Changed.
Jeremiah 17:9 "The heart is more deceitful than all else And is _desperately_ sick; Who can _understand_ it?

9. The Entire Human Race Was Affected.
Romans 5:12 Therefore, just as through one man sin _entered_ into the world, and death through sin, and so death spread to all men, _because_ all sinned -

Romans 6:16 Do you not know that when you present _yourselves_ to someone as slaves for obedience, you are slaves of the one whom you obey, either of sin resulting in death, or of obedience resulting in _righteousness_?

10. Jesus Took Man's Nature and Was Victorious.
Hebrews 2:14-17 Therefore, since the children share in flesh and blood, He Himself likewise also partook of the same, that through death He might render powerless him who had the power of death, that is, the devil, [15] and might free those who through fear of death were subject to slavery all their lives. [16] For _assuredly_ He does not give help to angels, but He gives help to the _descendant_ of Abraham. [17] Therefore, He had to be made like His brethren in all things, so that He might become a _merciful_ and _faithful_ high priest in things _pertaining_ to God, to make _propitiation_ for the sins of the people.

Romans 5:17-19 For if by the transgression of the one, death reigned through the one, much more those who receive the abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ. [18] So then as through one transgression there resulted _condemnation_ to all men, even so through one act of righteousness there resulted _justification_ of life to all men. [19] For as through the one man's dis_obedience_ the many were made _sinners_, even so through the _obedience_ of the One the many will be made righteous.

11. Through Jesus Salvation Is Ours As a Gift.
Romans 3:24-25 Being justified as a gift by His grace through the redemption which is in Christ Jesus; [25] whom God displayed publicly as a _propitiation_ in His blood through faith. This was to demonstrate His _righteousness_, because in the _forbearance_ of God He passed over the sins previously committed;

12. Jesus Is with Us.
Isaiah 41:13 "For I am the LORD your God, who _upholds_ your _right_ hand, Who says to you, 'Do not fear, I will help you.'

13. Satan Will Be Destroyed.
Ezekiel 28:17-18 "Your heart was lifted up because of your beauty; You _corrupted_ your wisdom by reason of your splendor. I cast you to the ground; I put you before kings, That they may see you. [18] "By the _multitude_ of your iniquities, In the _unrighteousness_ of your trade You profaned your _sanctuaries_. Therefore I have brought fire from the midst of you; It has _consumed_ you, And I have turned you to ashes on the earth In the eyes of all who see you.

14. Our God Will Make All Things New.
Revelation 21:1-5 Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth; for the first heaven and the first earth passed away, and there is no longer any sea. [2] And I saw the holy city, new _Jerusalem_, coming down out of heaven from God, made ready as a bride adorned for her _husband_. [3] And I heard a loud voice from the throne, saying, "Behold, the _tabernacle_ of God is among men, and He will dwell among them, and they shall be His _people_, and God _Himself_ will be among them, [4] and He will wipe away every tear from their eyes; and there will no longer be any death; there will no longer be any _mourning_, or _crying_, or pain; the first things have passed away." [5] And He who sits on the throne said, "Behold, I am _making_ all things new." And He said, "Write, for these words are _faithful_ and true."

15. Sin Will Never Be Again.
Nahum 1:9 Whatever you devise against the LORD, He will make a _complete_ end of it. _Distress_ will not rise up twice.
