2-Who God Is - NKJ

1. Everlasting.
Psalms 90:2 Before the _mountains_ were _brought_ forth, Or ever You had formed the earth and the world, Even from everlasting to everlasting, You are God.

2. All Powerful.
Daniel 2:20 Daniel _answered_ and said: "_Blessed_ be the name of God forever and ever, For wisdom and might are His.

3. He Sets up and Takes Down Kings.
Daniel 2:21 And He changes the times and the seasons; He removes kings and raises up kings; He gives wisdom to the wise And _knowledge_ to those who have _understanding_.

4. He Declares the End From the Beginning.
Isaiah 46:9-10 Remember the former things of old, For I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and there is none like Me, [10] _Declaring_ the end from the _beginning_, And from ancient times things that are not yet done, Saying, 'My counsel shall stand, And I will do all My _pleasure_,'

Isaiah 45:21 Tell and bring forth your case; Yes, let them take _counsel_ _together_. Who has _declared_ this from ancient time? Who has told it from that time? Have not I, the Lord? And there is no other God besides Me, A just God and a Savior; There is none besides Me.

5. All Powerful Creator.
Psalms 33:6 By the word of the Lord the _heavens_ were made, And all the host of them by the _breath_ of His mouth.

Psalms 33:9 For He spoke, and it was done; He _commanded_, and it _stood_ fast.

6. Long Suffering, Gracious and Merciful.
Exodus 34:6-7 And the LORD passed before him and proclaimed, The LORD, the LORD God, merciful and gracious, _longsuffering_, and abounding in goodness and truth, [7] keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity and _transgression_ and sin, by no means clearing the guilty, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children and the childrens children to the third and the fourth _generation_.

7. Draws Us with Loving Kindness.
Jeremiah 31:3 The Lord has appeared of old to me, saying: "Yes, I have loved you with an _everlasting_ love; Therefore with _lovingkindness_ I have drawn you.

8. The Owner of All the World.
Psalms 24:1 A Psalm of David. The earth is the Lord's, and all its _fullness_, The world and those who dwell _therein_.

9. The Heavens Reveal His Glory.
Psalms 19:1 To the Chief Musician. A Psalm of David. The heavens declare the glory of God; And the _firmament_ shows His _handiwork_.

Isaiah 40:26 Lift up your eyes on high, And see who has created these things, Who brings out their host by number; He calls them all by name, By the _greatness_ of His might And the _strength_ of His power; Not one is missing.

10. Our Deliverer Worthy of Our Praise.
Psalms 34:1-4 A Psalm of David when he _pretended_ madness before Abimelech, who drove him away, and he _departed_. I will bless the Lord at all times; His praise shall _continually_ be in my mouth. [2] My soul shall make its boast in the Lord; The humble shall hear of it and be glad. [3] Oh, magnify the Lord with me, And let us exalt His name _together_. [4] I sought the Lord, and He heard me, And _delivered_ me from all my fears.

Isaiah 41:10 Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will _strengthen_ you, Yes, I will help you, I will _uphold_ you with My righteous right hand.'

Isaiah 43:1-3 But now, thus says the Lord, who _created_ you, O Jacob, And He who formed you, O Israel: "Fear not, for I have _redeemed_ you; I have called you by your name; You are Mine. [2] When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; And through the rivers, they shall not _overflow_ you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, Nor shall the flame scorch you. [3] For I am the Lord your God, The Holy One of Israel, your _Savior_; I gave Egypt for your _ransom_, _Ethiopia_ and Seba in your place.

11. He Will Never Forsake Us.
Hebrews 13:5 Let your conduct be without _covetousness_; be content with such things as you have. For He Himself has said, "I will never leave you nor _forsake_ you."
