Earth's 6000 Year Timeline

This Timeline Offers Three Ways to Count Time.

They are forward, backward, and backward and forward from Christ. It is recognized that the exact time for certain events in the Old Testament are difficult to determine. Not everyone agrees. This is not a definitive timeline. But it can be useful. The overlay of the patriarchs lives was the most difficult to fit to the time line. Its purpose is to show a general outline of their great length of life, especially before the great flood.

Explanation of Layout

At the far left is Creation and at the far right is our day.
AC is the code used for after creation.
BC stands for before Christ
AD stands for after Christ (Anno Domini).

As the chart shows, there is about 2000 years for the Patriarchs, 2000 years for the nation of Israel, and 2000 years for the Christian era.
